Job description

The Duck Creek Analyst position will be responsible for development and support of custom applications in support of Duck Creek products and services.  The use of Duck Creek proprietary tools coupled with industry common code management systems will be the majority of your day to day operations.

Required Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of technical software components.
  • Degree, or relevant job experience in software development.
  • Ability to work with team members to understand and interpret business requirements
  • Design and develop web applications and services using software development best practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and configuration management
  • Integrate with commercial off-the-shelf software products and configuration of third party components
  • Coordinate configuration and testing with appropriate departments for client application release schedules
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements to develop applications to support the business needs
  • Full knowledge of software engineering life cycle including Agile environment


  • Degree in Technology based program, or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years software development experience using the Microsoft .NET/IIS platform stack, including ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL, XML, and/or XSLT (experience can be from school, or you can wow us in the interview by proving your ability to learn)
  • Solid understanding of logical programming, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibilities

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.  Accurate and detail oriented are preferred.
  • Highly motivated, team player, and self-starter
  • Can work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of customer issues and see through to resolution.
